I am 72 years of age.

I came to the United States at age 18, and since my marriage to a Veteran of World War II, I have been a Republican.

BUT, Obama has shown the leadership our country needs right now from jobs to fairness to our middle class and I will vote for him.

I am a Ph.D. from USC from a Defense Department Education Act Fellowship.

I wish I could help Obama in his pursue of another term.

Dr Myers, we want to thank you for joining our conversation about the 2012 Presidential candidates.

We're mystified by your comments. Everything you've told us about yourself points to your being a Republican, as you've acknowledged.

And with your educational achievements, you have the intelligence to evaluate the two candidates before you in a meaningful way.

So the only reason we can imagine for your statement that "Obama has shown the leadership our country needs right now" is that you must be getting your news exclusively from a liberal media outlet such as CNN or MSNBC.

If that is the case, you aren't getting HALF of the story about Barack Obama and his actions since occupying the Oval Office, and some of the stories you're seeing are just plain untrue.

Obama hasn't created jobs - he's only changed the way he counts them!

Obama hasn't shown fairness to the middle class or to seniors, and with the passage of Obamacare, you can expect your medical coverage to decrease, certain types of treatment to become totally unavailable to you because of your age, and the cost of your healthcare to be prohibitive on your fixed income. Obamacare robs Medicare, and as a senior with Medicare coverage, you should be very concerned. That single issue alone should be enough to cause you to vote for Mitt Romney, who has vowed to repeal Obamacare.

If you'd like to educate yourself about the stories you wouldn't have heard on a liberal media outlet, we urge you to check Fox News for the rest of the story.

And if you are among those who do vote for Obama, we urge you to remember this conversation the first time your medical treatment is denied under Obamacare, and realize that you did it to yourself.

We hope you won't misunderstand us. We are not attempting to be rude or disrespectful. We are simply concerned for you that whatever you have apparently heard about Barack Obama simply is not true.
