Val turns tail and runs - when the heat's on.

If I were Val Kilmer, and somebody accused me of saying things about vets that I didn't say, I would be furious. Like "all the rich people do" I would sue them for millions. (But he didn't.)

Maybe he's brushing up on his acting, so he'll have a better chance at starring as governor in a reality version of a Val Kilmer movie. So he lets his assistant (who knows all about veterans?) handle it.

Watch out for that rope, or you just might hang yourself.
