To Any/Every Soldier: Merry Christmas!

by Renee'
(Madison, WI)

To any and every soldier, sailor, airman, marine, and guardsman: Merry Christmas!

Please accept the gratitude of a stateside mother of several healthy, mostly happy children.

From all of us to all of you - Thank you for making it possible for us to go to church if we feel the need, gather around our Christmas tree and sing carols (In English), and sleep without the worry of war on our native soil. Your selfless deeds protect us every night and day.

I wish for you the merriest of Christmases and a free and prosperous New Year.

From the bottom of a mother's soul...thank you.

Renee'

I am not really a religious person, but my husband served in Vietnam, and I just would like for those, ALL of you, that are lonely, especially at this time of year, to know...

God Bless, and you are always in our hearts.

You are doing a great service for your country, and I wish you the best and merriest of Holidays.
