Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Our Troops

by Don Whitmer
(Longview, TX)

I want to wish all of our men and women in uniform defending this country a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

I know the sacrifice each of you are giving by serving in our nation's armed forces.

I also know the feelings of isolation and homesickness that are prevalent this time of year if you are deployed away from home and family. (I served in the United States Navy for 20 years.)

God Bless all of you and I pray He keeps you safe.

I appreciate each of you every day for protecting the freedom we have.

I know it has to be hard to be away from family and friends during Christmas.

Remembering our troops in prayer. Praying each of you will be home and safe soon.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND BEST WISHES FOR THE NEW YEAR.

THANK EACH OF YOU FOR ALL YOU DO.

Thank You!
