Lack of Fairness in Social Services
by Robert
(Atlanta GA.)
So here's my two cents. I recently went to social services for some help, and as a single, caucasian, white male 40 years old i don't qualify for anything except food stamps.
Am i any less of a person because i am not female or have children or from another country? i dont think so, but there it is, plain as day.
the young lady and her child in line with me walked out with food stamps, rent assistance, utility assistance, and a check every month. How is this possible?
How about it, readers? What do you think of Robert's lament? Should there be gender discrimination in social services?
