A note to our Veterans

by St. Michael's School
(Grand Forks, ND)

Dear Veterans,

Thank you for serving our country. We are very proud of what you do. We're glad that you fight for our freedoms.

Thank you for keeping us safe. Thank you for your sacrifices.

Sincerely,
St. Michael's Second Grade Class

Editor:

We'd like to thank this teacher for teaching her students about the value of our veterans to this country, and the fact that we have them to thank for the freedoms we enjoy each and every day.

We also want to thank the class for taking the time to post this note of thanks to our veterans, to let them know we appreciate their service.

Wishing you a safe and successful tour overseas. My thoughts will always be with you.

God bless St. Michael's 2nd grade class
by: Vietnam Vet in Communist Massachusetts

Your thanks mean more to me than all the empty platitudes coming from Washington.

I love the bumper sticker that says, "If you can read this, thank your teacher. If you can read this in English, thank your veteran".

I hope you appreciate your teachers as well, who are making you aware of the sacrifices men and women have made to keep America free!
