[Military-Money-Matters.com] Enjoy these Veterans Day Specials
November 11, 2013

November is a month when Americans are focused on appreciation. It’s Military Family Appreciation Month, when we are reminded to express our gratitude to the military families who support our troops while they serve.

Then there’s Veterans Day, when we thank all those who have answered the call and served our country with honor and dignity.

And then, at the end of the month, comes Thanksgiving, a time when we focus on family and friends, and giving thanks for all the blessings bestowed on us.

So in that spirit, I want to say how much I appreciate you being a loyal subscriber and follower of Military-Money-Matters.com. I appreciate your service and sacrifice –- all your contributions to preserving freedom and a better life for us all.

My goal here is to create a community of military families who are ready to take command of their finances so they can provide a better life for their families on that military paycheck. And to provide a place where you can find no-nonsense answers to money questions that matter to military members and families.

So if you have questions about financial issues that are important to your family, take a minute to let me know what those questions are. I’ll do my best to provide you with a no-nonsense answer.

In keeping with our theme of saving money, be sure to check out this year’s Veterans Day Specials from various merchants.

Many restaurants are offering free meals to veterans. If you play your cards right (and if you live in a place that has all these merchants), you could get three free meals and a free haircut tomorrow!

And if you're a Marine, Happy Birthday!

Thank you for all you do,

Janet
