Sears Heroes at Home Registration

I tried to register for Sears Heroes at Home Gift Registry. After I complete the form, my computer goes to "internet could not find this page."

Does that mean that it didn't go through? I just want to see if I got the form filled out so that we can qualify.

I believe that after you complete the registration form, you should get a confirmation screen. If you do not, that may mean your registration did not go through.

I would recommend that you keep trying until you get a confirmation.

Would someone who has successfully completed registration please comment to confirm that you got a confirmation screen?

I have had the same thing happened to me also. After an hour I still hadn't gotten through.

I tried to do this last year and was never able to get on. It was up for a few minutes and then was down. I would love to be able to participate in this have heard nothing but good from this. Sears is a fantastic store to assist us military families in times of need like this.

Thank you sears and hope the site gets back up and running.

I went to Sears' website and registered on time and it went to "website can not be found" and now I can not even receive the gift card.

I called the 1-800 number and they were very rude and did not care.

I am very upset that i registered on time and still could not do it because of issues with their website. Very sad.

I thought it said it was open from 10/13/2010 to 10/15/2010? What happened?

I really do hope some of the other service families that need this were able to register and got through. It will be a shame if they didn't.

I pray everyday it will be better for all of us towards this holiday season.

Arlene, thank you for pointing this out.

I wouldn't panic yet. Notice it says it's closed temporarily. That indicates it will reopen. We understand that last year, it was just open for about 15 minutes at a time. Maybe they just need time to catch up with the registrations already received.

But it will reach the limit of 20,000 families very quickly, so don't wait long. We recommend that you check back every 10-15 minutes to see if you can get the registration screen. And keep trying until you do.
Kept Trying

I kept trying and submitted over and over and got the internet not connecting screen.

Tried again, and although I never got a confirmation, I got a screen that said that I was registered already.

Just keep trying.

The same thing happened to me also..I would recommend to keep trying.

After an hour I did get through and did get confirmation.

I would say it works like in 15 minute intervals and I would keep trying...

And a big thank you for putting this site up and giving me the info needed -- a big hug and thank you! =)

Your comments confirm what we heard about how the program worked last year -- open for 15 minutes at a time till all the slots were filled.

I've been trying since 9:30 a.m., and no luck. So I said, "This is the last time."

After 2 hours and a half, my application finally went through.

Same thing happened to me... I have been trying since this morning.. I even had my husband in Iraq try and no luck. I called corporate and they said there was nothing they could do..



My guess is the servers are overwhelmed trying to keep up with all the registrations. Keep trying, and good luck!
