Health Care Bill is Evidence of Government Run Amok

The Democrats' insistence on trying to ram through health care reform despite opposition by an overwhelming majority of Americans is just another example of our government run amok!

After all, why do we need a government of the people, when we have such a great Speaker of the House? (I hope you note the sarcasm.)

Wow. Let's do it her way and gag all the Congressmen who oppose us, and the media, and make sure the American public finds out only after the bills are law.

At all costs, we must keep the public dumbfounded about what we are doing. As of now, we're doing a great job on the health care bill. The public is completely snowed. Ask anybody outside of Washington, DC, and they have no idea what's going on. Job well done, Congressmen and Senators!



"Hi, My name is Nancy Pelosi, and don't you forget it. I'm the most powerful woman in this government and I plan to run it my way. Um, mine and the President's way, I mean.

"If the President makes any mistakes, I'll be the first to let you know.

"I'm thinking about a 'no salute' bill, so the President wouldn't have to worry about people criticizing him for not saluting the flag or the national anthem. That's old military stuff we don't need any more anyway, now that we're making friends with everyone else in the world.

"Feel free to do as we do in California -- burn an American flag anytime you want. Only the Boy Scouts and a few old veterans will care anyway."

Can we still say God Bless America?

How about In God We Trust -- at least that's still on all our money.
